Harriet Pullen’s Birthday & Women’s Equality Day Tea Party

This August 13th will mark 166 years since the birth of Harriet Pullen.

And August 26th marks 106 years since the certification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote.

With so much to celebrate in August, the Skagway Public Library will be hosting a tea party in honor of Harriet Pullen’s birthday, Women’s Equality Day, and Skagway’s history of strong, determined, and change-making women! Join us on Saturday, August 15th between 1:00 and 3:00 pm in the Library’s Community Room.

There will be treats and teas to enjoy, but feel free to bring something to share if you would like to contribute.
