Come celebrate the 164th anniversary of this Skagway icon's birth! On Sunday, August 18th, the Skagway Public Library will be hosting the 2nd annual Harriet Pullen Birthday Tea Party, a few days on from her August 13th birthday. Join us in the Community Room for tea, treats, and history!
A tea party made up of Skagway's favorite teas! Bring your favorite tea (bag or loose leaf), we'll brew it, then share with others. Bring your own mug to sample the selection and discover a new favorite! (Got an extra teapot lying around? Please do bring it too - we'll need lots!)

Jane Austen would have been 250 years old on December 16, 2025, so to honor one of our favorite writers, we are throwing her a 250th birthday party! Stop by the library's Community Room between 1:00 and 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 13th for tea, treats, and Austen-themed activities to celebrate Ms. Austen's incredible legacy.
